A BRIEF HISTORY. Horizon Audio had its origin operating as Hammond Electronics and took on the name Horizon Audio in 1989.  Horizon Audio was owned and operated by Scott Ackerman and Doug Titko for decades before former employee, Aaron Joseph, acquired the Alliance location in 2010 and the North Canton and Canton locations in 2016. Horizon Audio continues to emphasize employee values, use modernized installation techniques, and maintains involvement with several local charities.

HORIZON TODAY. Horizon Audio offers all vehicle accessory upgrades with professional installation. The company operates out of three locations and currently employs 19 people with the average employee tenure being 9 years. Horizon Audio continues to succeed because of our long time customer relationships, not only focusing on selling the best products, but building the trust of the community.  Horizon Audio has won the Akron / Canton Hot List Best Car Stereo award the last three years in a row.

OUR MISSION. We will continue to serve all our customers with courtesy, honesty, and in-depth knowledge of our products. We will provide a timely and professional installation experience. We will stay on top of new technologies and their proper installation. Together, our three locations will provide a standard of excellence to maintain Horizon Audio as the number one destination for all vehicle accessories in Northeast Ohio.
